PET FOOD: We collect and hand out food and supplies to pets of owners of our community through the Interfaith Food Ministry.
PET LICENSING: We provide vaccinations and city licensing to pets of the homeless that have been spayed or neutered.
VETERINARY SERVICES: We provide vet services via For The Love of Pets and spaying and neutering services via Animal Save, both located in Grass Valley. ONLY pets that have been spayed or neutered qualify for vet services.
PET SUPPLIES: We provide coats, leashes, collars, harnesses, toys, flea meds, beds, treats and blankets. We also offer special needs items such as insulin and syringes to pets that have been spayed or neutered.
Why We Do It!
Our pets become family and they deserve no less. In times of stress and instability, sometimes a pet can be the beating heart we rely on for emotional support. Having a pet helps people get through one more day, providing support, protection and warmth during the nights.
